Just a quick review to say what professional and friendly help we received from all the staff at Chorley Auction House and in particular the packaging department. The lots we bought were expertly packaged that I think only an earthquake could have damaged them!!! It took longer to unpack them than to bid for them. Good afternoon, Just a quick note to thank once again the packer who did a splendid job on the disparate items from the last sale which all arrived undamaged. I would consider them to be amongst the best from the many I have encountered over the past year or so. Possibly a close second to the Potteries in Stoke, but at a much more economical cost. Sadly nothing this week but no doubt I'll be back again soon.

To all at Chorley Auctions Whilst we’ve been dabbling in online auctions for a number of years, we’ve only just discovered yourselves (don’t ask me why) & last Monday was our first registration. We felt we had to make contact with a commendation on the high standard of your service & packing for shipping. No doubt a long day for you all on Monday, but three days later we have our lots here safe & sound (all the way to deepest Devon). One of the lots for my wife was fragile but the quality of packing ensured she is delighted with the purchase. People are all too keen to complain when things go wrong, so it’s only right that credit is also given where it’s due – so well done to all involved.

Like any auction house you need to be careful what you bid on and remember the hammer price is not the final price you pay, but the folk at Chorley Auction House are what really sets them apart from some other auction houses. All of the staff I've had dealings with, in person or by phone, have been pleasant and professional and they're always happy to go the extra mile. Or across the road with your awkward item at the very least.

What a pleasure it is to deal with the team at Chorley Auction House! Selling your valuables here is so straightforward. From the patience and time taken during the initial appraisal of goods, the research undertaken by them and the knowledgeable advice given, to the sale of the items where the administration team are super efficient and communicative. The whole process by them is professional and organised. I will definitely return as I know my possessions will be taken care of and handled well.

Having over the last 6 years being unfortunate enough to 'do' 3 house clearances, the act of taking our stuff to the Auction House has always make the task lighter and brought a bit of fun into our lives. Mark's knowledge, Nicola's wit and the team's enthusiasm never waver and we would, and have, highly recommended them to many people over the years. It may not get as much for you sometimes as if you sold on Gumtree etc. but it is so much easier and you can watch your items live online which adds to the entertainment. How on earth Mark keeps going for up to 9 hours on a Monday never fails to amaze us!

Sorted out 5 parcels for me with different weights to which I thought there was one parcel missing but Nicola after explaining that I hadn’t paid for it calmed me down with my sincere apologies thrown in Nothing is to much for Nicola and her crew and as helped me out on several occasions

We have used the services offered by Chorley Auction House several times over this last year, as we have had the difficult task of clearing two very full houses and would highly recommend their services. Their staff have sorted and collected many items to put through the Auctions. They offered good advice about what items were likely to sell, in order for us to avoid paying unnecessary auction fees. All the staff are friendly, helpful and hard working but a special mention must go to Harry, Darren and Jensen who work in the Packitt & Go Team. They were responsible for moving the majority of the stuff from the lofts, rooms, garages and sheds, either for the auction or for clearance. They were amazing! They worked quickly and consistently and handled everything with care. I really don’t know what we would have done without their help. Thank you to Mark and Nicola for running such a great Auction House.

The best and most honest and open auction house I have had the pleasure dealing with, they are professional and very passionate in the service they give, you can tell that by the quality of the descriptions given by the experienced staff and by the professionalism that is given to the photo's taken by Connor. The showroom is always immaculately displayed by Geoff and Earth and I always get a warm and happy greeting everytime I go. The Staff are always happy to help unload or load vehicles, plus you can dip into the free sweets bowl while you wait at Paula's payment window. I would thoroughly recommend going along to the auction room on viewing day (Saturday 10-2pm) and also experiencing visiting the auction room on auction day ( every monday ) to experience the fun of budding live for something, there's lots of great bargains to be had and lots of very nice items to bid on, pop along for a good day at the auction I guarantee you will be happily greeted by everyone there and you will have a great and comfy time and no doubt be coming away with your won items that Mark, Nicola or Rhys will have auction off on the day. I would thoroughly recommend taking your unwanted items here as they are treated with upmost professionalism and get some very surprising results on auction day. Keep up the good work guys and girls you are by far the Flagship of the Auctions I visit.

We “stumbled” across Chorley Auction House after years of it avoiding us. It had made me very happy and I’m now enamoured of all things CAH! Staff are friendly and wonderful and so are the items. I think this is what I lived to this ripe old age for. To have a new hobby and replace some existing items I have had for donkeys years is quite liberating. I’ll soon need a bigger house.
