VIEWING 

Saturday 10am till 2pm and Monday 9am till 3pm.

You can attend on these days and and inspect items for sale. 


CONDITION REPORTS 

We will be very pleased to give condition reports on any lot where practical. You may ask as many questions as you like and we will be your “eyes and ears” to help enable you to fully satisfy yourselves before bidding. You additionally have the opportunity to view on Saturday 11-2pm and on Monday 9-3pm.

It is Your Responsibility to ensure that you have obtained all the necessary information required for your purchase in the auction.

Items may / can be sold AF (as Found) and thus may have incidental scratches, chips, faults, breakages or parts missing. Electrical Items are PAT tested where a UK standard Plug or Adapter are in place – This does not assess the functionality or working condition of any Electrical Item. These are sold AF.

It is essential that you understand and agree to be bound by the understanding that you have the opportunity to request condition reports and thus are fully liable for your purchase as determined by Law at the point of Hammer.

COLLECTION OF ITEMS WON AT AUCTION

All Auction Items Won At Auction MUST be Collected No Later Than Thursday 5pm On The Week Of The Auction.

Tuesday  8:30am and 5pm.

Wednesday 8:30am and 6pm.

Thursday 8:30am and 5pm.

 

IF YOU REQUIRE A POSTAL SERVICE OF YOUR ITEMS WON AT AUCTION

 PLEASE NOTE WE NOW ONLY SHIP IN THE UK- BUT CAN PROVIDE A PACKING SERVICE ON REQUEST FOR ALL NON UK CUSTOMERS
All packages will be sent uninsured at the buyers risk, quotes for insurance can be provided upon request but will not cover prohibited items and risk still remains with the buyer We will endeavour to dispatch within 3 Business working days after receiving cleared funds, we charge a standard packing charge on a Rising Scale as Follows.

1kg to 2 kg £3 per Parcel
2kg to 5 kg £5 per Parcel
5kg to 10kg £8 per Parcel
10kg to 15kg £10 per Parcel
15kg to 30kg £15 per Parcel

Then Carriage / Postage at cost, Buyer will assume all responsibility for any Shipped lots, Buyers are welcome to arrange their own courier, for which our packing fees will apply.

*Any Parcel containing Full or Part Tea-sets will incur an additional charge for packing dependant upon the number of pieces - please enquire price before bidding *

We will assume that all customers are collecting and invoices will be sent out excluding any carriage charge.

Shipping invoices must be settled with 3 days after issue , failure to do so will result in the items being back up for auction and any outstanding fees will be deducted from the monies due back to the Customer

Any Customer wishing to have items sent please pay Invoice on receipt and we will then pack Goods for shipping and Inform Buyer of Final Packing and Postage Charge


If customers have any special delivery requirements or are looking to purchase large items of furniture please contact us prior to auction for quotation.

Returns Policy
Items can ONLY be returned at the Auctioneers discretion and are done so at the cost of the buyer

 

Local Delivery Service

 

We now offer a local delivery service, please contact for a quotation as prices vary dependant upon distance and requirements.

 

CHARGES and PAYMENT
 

CHORLEY AUCTION HOUSE - All purchases are subject to 22%* buyer's commission, with a minimum amount payable of £2.00*

We accept all major Card payments up to Maximum Invoice Charge of £500

Invoices Over £500 Must Be Made Either in Cash or Via Bank Transfer or combination of both.

For Payments by Cash and Credit Transfer, Our Account details can be found below and on All Invoices which will be emailed immediately on completion of Sale.

* VAT is applicable to Invoices from Chorley Auction House Only.

You Agree To Pay for All Item's No Later Than 5pm Thursday On The Week Of The Sale.

Where Payment Is Not Received, Chorley Auction House & Imperial Auction Services Ltd, Reserve the right to Process Your Payment from Card Details stored at Registration with Easylive. If transactions are unsuccessful or payment is not received, a holding / storage and administration fee will be added to your invoice at a rate of 30% per total value of your invoice. 

 

BIDDING ONLINE IS EASY VIA 'EASYLIVE'

Bidder's Using The Easy Live System Are Using Our Online Bidding Portal. This is a 3rd Party Provider. The operating system is managed by EasyLive and when you register to bid online, you will be setting up a bidding account through the 3rd Party Portal. Any technical issues arising as a result of the use of EasyLive is outside of our control. REFUNDS & CANCELLATIONS

Purchasing at auctions are except from certain rules under the Distance Selling Regulations Read More 

If you / or someone else has made a Bid on your behalf, you are liable as defined by Law (The Hammer is Final). Only in exceptional circumstances and in consultation with the Vendor may it be possible to cancel a purchase (Fees & Charges still apply).
